Laura R. Meehan
Laura R. Meehan helps businesses and individuals with a variety of legal issues, specializing in residential real estate transactions, preparation of wills and simple trusts, family law matters, and small business formation and counsel.
Ms. Meehan received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Miami University in 1996 and her law degree from IIT Chicago-Kent College of Law in 1999. Prior to starting her own firm, she worked in the employee benefits practice group at a labor and employment firm in Chicago. She has been admitted to practice before the Illinois Supreme Court and the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, and is a member of the Illinois State and DuPage County Bar Associations. Laura lives in Glen Ellyn with her husband and two children.
J. Michael Bean
J. Michael Bean is one of the founding partners of Bean & Meehan, LLC. His legal practice focuses on general civil litigation, business counseling and family law.
Mr. Bean is an experienced trial lawyer who has successfully litigated complex cases in state and federal courts around the country. Over his 36-plus years as an attorney, he has successfully resolved many hundreds of cases for his clients. For nearly 26 years, he has managed a nationwide accident litigation practice. He has served as the General Counsel for several mid-sized companies and continues to counsel businesses and their employees on a wide range of business matters.
Mike graduated from Northern Illinois University with honors in 1970. After college, he served as a fighter pilot in the Air Force and the Illinois National Guard. Mike returned to school after the active duty tour and graduated from Loyola University School of Law in Chicago with honors in 1983. He is licensed in Illinois and Texas. Mike is married and has three children and three grandchildren.
